This offer is misleading. $300 gets you one year of service but you will pay taxes and fees on top of the $300. This is precisely the confusion that T-Mobile fixed with their "all in" pricing. //@Anonymous: Existing Prepaid customers eligible?

I just converted my long-standing postpaid account to a prepaid account availing the $300/year offer. After all taxes and fees, the total came to $307.35. Still a pretty good deal for 8GB data/month, tethering and unlimited talk/text. The rep confirmed that there won't be any additional monthly charges. The only problem is that there is no international roaming option with prepaid (so International Day Pass won't work). //@Anonymous: This offer is misleading. $300 gets you one year of service but you will pay taxes and fees on top of the $300. I did the conversion over the phone. They have an established process for converting a postpaid account to a prepaid account. Be careful to not call from the phone that you are converting because the call drops as soon as they switch the account from postpaid to prepaid. If calling from the same phone, ask the rep to call you back on a different phone before converting. //@anonymous: Thanks for the info. Was it done in store or online chat or over the phone?
