it is up to and remember almost all Costco stores do not have any iphones in stock since last month. They will mail to your address and all it will be bill credit instead of gift card. Read all fine prints before marathon to Costco. //@Anonymous: trade in required???

Upon received the phone, do not turn on. Pop out the SIM card, then turn on to set up the phone, it is then GSM unlocked. You can't join CDMA carrier as it is registered as SimpleMobile's device. //@Anonymous: Can we unlock it?
