If all you do is browser based apps, word processing, YouTube, Facebook and social media consumption. Then this is more than enough. If you make 4K videos and are a YouTuber, then it wont be. Can do it…but will take a while.

1)App compatibility issue, you have to use Rosetta2 for most software. 2)Unified memory architecture causes extremely excessive rewriting on SSD which is soldered and irreplaceable. //@sza: Don't be the beta testers. It is horrible to install modules in Apple ml to do ML/DL. for example, still don't know how to install pytorch, don't know how to install hdf5 and so on. Don't buy at this moment.

not really. Just use Rosetta for intel applications. The performance is not too shabby compared to newer intel CPUs.
