Apple's RAM is different from a PC. It uses Unified Memory that's on the same chip as the CPU so the ram is multitudes faster and far more capible than normal separate system RAM. So 8GB on a new M-Series Mac feels like 16+GB on an older intel Mac or any windows machine. //@Anonymous: When can apple catch up 16GB RAM?

Have they already raised the price? M4 Macbook Air from Apple's education store is still just $899, who's the sucker that buys an older model with more money? We know price will go up, but this is too soon, at least they should wait Apple office online store to increase the price first.
