You have to open the chip packaging //@anonymous: Somebody can do this can also upgrade RAM modules for you //@anonymous: You can't change RAM but you can upgrade flash chip to 2T or 4T. Find someone help you to solder a new flash chip for upgrade.

If Apple puts 16G RAM / 512GB SSD for the entry model, more people would just buy the basic config without paying extra for the upgrade.
