Is it good? I have a bunch of Arlo cams on my Arlo hub already. $100 seems like a decent price to add in a doorbell cam, if it works well...

Will not put one more penny with Arlo after their latest move.

Dang, that's too bad to hear that. Thanks for the heads up. It's still better than the slimy behavior of the Anker Eufy cameras, but not good nonetheless. //@Anonymous: Will not put one more penny with Arlo after their latest move.

So you never have a nest doorbell. It is complete trash/worst video quality. Even if you are planning to get one, never buy a battery version, worst in the market. //@anonymous: i will only use google/nest doorbell cam. these other are garbage.

not recommended. you have to pay subscription to use it as a smart doorbell, and they just increased the price by 30% this year.

I've had a variety of Arlo cameras since the Netgear days. Interface is buggy, support for my cameras is being dropped, and I have to click No Thanks on subscription ads I don't want every time I log into to the app. I think they didn't realize the cost of storage when they sold their cams, and have been trying to make up for it for a long time time. Complete garbage products and services which started out pretty good.

Don’t talk as if this half TB thumb drive doesn’t perform well for sustained transfers w/o comparing it to any other drive in its class and price range. Not everyone needs to transfer larger than 1GB files frequently if at all. //@anonymous: speed drops to a few MB/s after copying about 1GB //@Anonymous: deal?

Yean. But unfortunately, some do. //@Anonymous: Don’t talk as if this half TB thumb drive doesn’t perform well for sustained transfers w/o comparing it to any other drive in its class and price range. Then why talk about it as if all do? This drive is perfectly fine for many people at a great price for its size (both physical and capacity). I feel more people care about burst speeds for smaller files. It’s not unfortunate that anyone needs faster transfer speeds. Just get the right product and stop wanting all to be in the same class for your own needs.

Are you lucky? I bought a 2GB Sandisk in 2005 for $199.99.

You make it sound as if that wasn’t the deal back in the mid 2000’s for those SanDisks. //@anonymous: Are you lucky? I bought a 2GB Sandisk in 2005 for $199.99.
