You make it sound as if that wasn’t the deal back in the mid 2000’s for those SanDisks. //@anonymous: Are you lucky? I bought a 2GB Sandisk in 2005 for $199.99.

Then why talk about it as if all do? This drive is perfectly fine for many people at a great price for its size (both physical and capacity). I feel more people care about burst speeds for smaller files. It’s not unfortunate that anyone needs faster transfer speeds. Just get the right product and stop wanting all to be in the same class for your own needs.

Yean. But unfortunately, some do. //@Anonymous: Don’t talk as if this half TB thumb drive doesn’t perform well for sustained transfers w/o comparing it to any other drive in its class and price range. Not everyone needs to transfer larger than 1GB files frequently if at all. //@anonymous: speed drops to a few MB/s after copying about 1GB //@Anonymous: deal?
