It is better to get a EoP system and just plug in cheaper wifi APs at various points in your house. //@Anonymous: Is it really worth it? Anybody? Also does this thing work with Fios?

ac not ax

AC is the current standard with most supported devices available out there. AX is not standard, just the trial transition from AC to AD, AX to AE. AE will be the next standard, coming at least next year. AE new supported devices will arrive, years after that. If your current wifi router is still working good, and meets your needs, no need to upgrade now.
