Orders failed to come through twice. First didn’t get the correct credit for trade-in. Second time, the order got stuck somewhere and Verizon asked me to reorder. Bad service over and over again.

How much will be charged by Verizon if cancelling within 3 days?

any catches?

The carrier charges a one-time fee for activating your new device. Best Buy does not add this fee. This charge would be required even if you set up your device directly through the carrier.
Anonymous
On top of the activation fee, you need to choose a plan that costs at least $60 upon purchase. Not sure you'll get it back.

Apple makes a lot of great products, including peripherals, but this material is an exception. I have a phone case made of this material, and it got scratches after a few days, and it looks terrible after half a year.

Don’t care buddy. I switched to Verizon 2 months ago, it’s a nightmare, the promised deals off back and off again. Also I would say there is cheating in the first month bill. Pay attention to it. Spend lots of time on service calls

Wait until you cancel their service. It's another level of nightmare. //@Anonymous: I switched to Verizon 2 months ago, it’s a nightmare, the promised deals off back and off again. Also I would say there is cheating in the first month bill. Pay attention to it. Spend lots of time on service calls

By the time you cancel their service make sure you call ahead of time to clarify termination fees. Even with that they can still randomly charge you in the range of ~$200 even if you fulfill the term and should be fee free. Last time I had to involve www.bbb.org to resolve the issue. What a pain!

Anonymous
Agree with all the comments about the nightmares. If you switch your service and order devices from their website, there is a chance that they will cancel your order for no reason and call back the devices from UPS. At the same time you still get the first month bill without any discounts and include the device activation fees. Next, you will be trapped in the endless calls and hassles. Each customer representative will tell you things completely different. Such a scam!

My fresh experience. I just ordered 5 iPhone 15 pro max. The salesperson promised the phone numbers will be transferred after I received the phone. However, after we received the phones, it turns into unless calling and explaining. I still cannot transfer the numbers and consolidating the number into one account.

Yeah, I use google FI. 4 lines, total with taxes is 111. When I travel internationally, I upgrade to 180/month and it works in any country. When I come back, I can switch back in the app. No contracts. They occasionally have good discounts on galaxy S series phones, can get them for about 300, unlocked, just need to keep them on the service for 90 days to get the discount.
I seriously considered switching, had the cart built and was one click away, but it will cost more in the long run. //@Anonymous: ok, i just had a conversation with Verizon chat support online, they said the first month will be 440$, if you contact with them, they will drop to 320 without taxes, then 140$ without taxes for each month, also u will get 200$ for gift card. But, when i asked about the plan price (if the price increase during 36 months), they said "currently we don't have any price guarantee on it. but in case if there is any increase you will be officially informed via email before 60days.

Basically, Verizon doubles the price you'd pay for Visible (owned by Verizon) and then, if you catch a "deal," will let you get, effectively, Visible-level pricing for their service plus old phones. //@Anonymous: Not bad . With tax $180 x 36 = 6,480

$6480 + 434 taxes for the phones + $35 activation fees . It will cost you $7000.
