same here. I signed up their 5g home network, which promised give $200 after 2 months service. I used the service for over 6 months, and never received the $200 rebate card. //@Anonymous: I recently returned to Verizon for a deal on iPhone. However, they had never paid me back what they promised. They ask me to sign up for a new line as they said the previous deal expired then charge me both lines for a few months. I am stuck with them and feeling like being scammed. Worst customer services !

When will we no longer be chopped like leeks?

By anonymous on 06/29/2025, 09:49 AM EDT
Verizon has never reimbursed my trade in value. After a while, they said the deal was gone and could not do anything accept for canceling the previous one and starting a new deal so they can proceed it. After that that continues to charge me 2 lines for months still never fix the problem despite speaking to customers service at least 4 times. Don’t be scammed !

Be very careful when you switch to Verizon. Their custom service is horrible. They have hidden fees you do not know. They will increase price even before their promised plan schedule. By the way, verizon plan is 36 months.

Whats the difference between the ultimate plan and welcome plan. Ultimate plan is 25$ more per line for data prioritization, how significant is it from the welcome plan.

Same thing with me and one number didnt port correctly, the discount didnt apply. Still waiting for them to fix it. //@anonymous: Billing cycle starts from when the order is placed although you didn’t receive the phone. You can’t get the auto pay discount for the first bill.

By anonymous on 06/24/2025, 09:30 AM EDT
Tmobile only requires 2 years for payoff of new phones rather than 3 years like ATT or Verizon.

agree! understand what you need form Verizon. //@Anonymous: Think carefully before switching to Verizon.

Two months ago, I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon and faced many hidden charges. When I spoke with a Verizon sales representative before switching, they assured me there would be no activation fees. However, my first bill included activation charges for all four lines.

My honest advice: visit a Verizon store in person and review your plan carefully before making any changes. The only real benefit I received was a new iPhone with a 3-year contract — but everything else came with unexpected costs. //@Anonymous: how much are taxes and fees on verizon bill?

sorry about your experience, but it's important to understand that when you enter into a contract—especially one involving high-value devices like smartphones—canceling it may come with financial obligations. If a phone is ordered and the contract is broken, you may still be responsible for associated charges, even if the device was not received or used. This reminds me of a story from the early days of the stock market in China. When stocks were rising, everyone wanted to own shares—people rushed in, eager to profit. But when the market turned and prices dropped, suddenly everyone wanted a refund. The truth is, investing—or entering into any kind of financial agreement—comes with both opportunities and responsibilities. You can’t expect to walk away without consequence just because things didn’t go as planned. //@Anonymous: Don’t do it. I canceled my order after 14 minutes. They charged me $75 (“taxes”) and now they want to charge me over $1000 for a phone I never received. I have put disputes on my credit card and I’ve called Verizon customer service multiple times. They read from a script. Do not trust this company. Nothing is free. You will pay for it somehow someway.

Mine is showing $30/line

By anonymous on 06/21/2025, 07:37 PM EDT
Your monthly payment will be $100 plus tax and surcharges, totaling approximately $130, depending on your location.
For the first payment, you'll also need to cover the sales tax on the phones. For example, if you purchase four iPhone 16 Pro devices, you'll need to pay tax on 4 × $1000, based on your local tax rate. //@Anonymous: how much are taxes and fees on verizon bill?

How bad is data de prioritization? I heard it could be very bad with minimal or no data speed. That may be the catch

I am with t-mobile now. Can I follow the steps to transfer to Verizon?

For me, 100+26.67 =$126.67/month //@anonymous: Activation fees waived.Total cost = ($100/month + tax) x 36 months + $345 tax onetime - $300 credit.

By anonymous on 06/17/2025, 03:52 AM EDT
no trade-in required. //@anonymous: How many phones do we need to trade in? 4?

no activation fees.
No trading required.
$100+tax = $120 per month

$5,300+ commitment (including the activation fees) is a bit too much. I would rather be on the lookout for deals with the MVNOs like Mint, USM, Boost, or H2O. My friend has USM unlimited data (10 gigs 5G) Verizon (no data downgrade) connection for $180 a year incl tax. He also got an unlocked Pixel 9 phone for $400. //@Anonymous: Thanks for your information. Each line is about $36/month, for 36-month contract. The total payment is about #1300. The phone (iPhone 16) sales price is about $1100 after tax, so the data is almost free. Thanks. //@Anonymous: After talks to sales, the breakdown is if you upgrade to 512 g, you pay 120+ sales tax, a 35/line activation fee, and plus tax it is about 40/line each month with trade in of you old phone and 43.xx without trade in of your old phone. If you keep 128 g, the sale tax is still around 120, and you pay 31 each month with trade in of old phone. And 36 without trade in.
