I am a poor guy who spent $1500 on cell phone and $200+ on monthly plan. When I was hungry or thirsty I just took out my phone and played 5-10 min and everything was settled. //@anonymous: I am a poor guy who can spend $1000 on cigars , alcohol and junks but still cant buy/afford a reliable cellphone plan. What removing number lock has anything to do with loyalty?

If they think you are looking to transfer your number, they may want to keep you as a customer and offer you the loyalty discount. //@Anonymous: What removing number lock has anything to do with loyalty?

I have $25 Loyalty Discount for more than a year now.

us company never treat loyalty customers well, and take maximum advantage of them. all discounts given to new customers. I guess they based on statistics that well paid adults usually don’t have time to switch out and back in to take discounts. There are quite few options here that using verizon networks but only $10-25 per line unlimited data. key is that most of people only use small amount of data. at home, office there are almost wireless connections which are much faster.

I only have $20 per month. They added $3 fee per line for legacy Start 1.0 plan. I guess this promotion is to offset that fee to keep these customers who plan to switch carriers. However, probably only a tiny portion of customers will apply this promotion. //@anonymous: I have $25 Loyalty Discount for more than a year now.
