Do not store any info or buy any gift card from Target unless you use immediately after you purchase it.
I bought $300 gift cards and store in my Target account. It was stolen (target IT is not secure) and Target refused to take any responsibility. I store my payment info with many platforms and Target is the only one have security issue.

You should file a police report and it's reasonable for you to "assume" Target committed fraud on you. Only this way it will get target's attention! Do yourself and others a favor. It's very easy to file a police report. Go to your township police department and they will take it from there. //@Anonymous: Do not store any info or buy any gift card from Target unless you use immediately after you purchase it.

Did you get the card mailed already? How can you read this here and not, literally, on their website? “The coupon will be mailed to approved cardholders with their RedCard…” //@anonymous: I signed up the reloadable card, but why I did not receive the coupon?

No, you were scammed by a con artist and refuse to accept it was your fault. Giftcard scams are infamous and in-store cashiers are told to be wary of people buying multiple and high price giftcards. Unless you have evidence Target systems were infiltrated by a hacker, cope with your mistake. You were scammed. //@anonymous: Do not store any info or buy any gift card from Target unless you use immediately after you purchase it.

It is a true story. You dumbs! Go buy whatever and take you own risks! You fool does not worth my time to reminder for!
For $300, I did not want to spend the time to go through all the trouble to file police report. I bought the cards online and mail to me in NJ and combine into one card and store my target on-line account. The card balance went to 0 and Target claimed the acrd was used in FL. Called Target a few times and they never take any responsibility! //@Anonymous: Sounds like a lie. No proof and why talk about it here? To warn us? You couldn’t get it resolved so work on it or get over it. You got an account hacked but no one believed you? What does this have to do with the DEAL? //@anonymous: It is a true story. You dumbs! Go buy whatever and take you own risks! You fool does not worth my time to reminder for!

Physical gift card or e-card, which one is more secure?
Anonymous
Physical cards have additional shipping risk.

e-card is safer, because you have a way to track your purchase. For physical card, you may lose your receipt later. But if you will use your card immediately, not much difference. //@Anonymous: Physical gift card or e-card, which one is more secure?
