Also, there are only two carriers Verizon and Sprint showed up under the "in-club" tab on their website. Not sure if other carriers participate.

Yes, I bought the certificate and trade in local costco for a membership.

Not sure about my case since I had costco membership until Feb 2017. But people in costco said last time I got a member there is 2014? They also convinced me to upgrade to the black card + costco visa card. I spend $60 more that day, was told will get $80 in cash instead of $20, 3 gifts and all the benefits of black card and visa card. Got a black card to use right at the site, still wait for visa card and other benefits to arrive now.

Local Sams had 2 iPhone X. First two people in the line at 3am got them. I got a iPhone 8+ 256GB after almost 3 hours in the line. All iPhones 8 and 8+ ran out after the couple behind me. But the store still have some 7 and 7+ left. $300 store credit is still a good deal.

Bad place to buy appliances. We bought the extended warranty for 5 extra years. When we called for repair nothing was covered under warranty. I will not recommend Home Depot for the appliances at all.
