What makes this rice cooker $100 more than other type?

Better tasting rice, of course. It also makes the pot very easy to wash. //@Anonymous: What makes this rice cooker $100 more than other type?

Their nonstick coating peels off very soon. And they charge a lot for inner pot only(near$100). Won't purchase this brand again.

Years ago owned a $150 Zojirushi and a friend of mine bought a $400 Cuckoo. I demanded a competition with the rice species I pick (yes, you should know, the rice you buy just as the flour you buy makes a HUGE difference and that's why their prices can differ by 40 times). Let me say this, we brought the rice cookers for tasting. The moment I tasted his rice, I picked up my cheaper Zojirushi and said: the competition is over -- you won. Does it taste 2x better? No. Is a 5-star hotel stay 2x better than a 4-star hotel? //@Anonymous: What makes this rice cooker $100 more than other type?

The inner cooking pan need to be replaced soon, cost another $100

I have three rice cookers need inner pan replacements. The inner pan costs more than half the original price, which is annoying //@Anonymous: The inner cooking pan need to be replaced soon, cost another $100

Mine was not that expensive about at least 5 years. It’s almost in new shape speaking of the inner pot. If my in law follows my direction, it will be still new. You should dry the outside of the inner pot each time you put it in to cook //@anonymous: Their nonstick coating peels off very soon. And they charge a lot for inner pot only(near$100). Apple is so sensitive about the environment. But they are selling the charger that must have it. I never understood that. It is totally not fair for someone paying $1000 for a phone that does not come with charger. What a shame.

It's $19 w/ free shipping straight from Apple. I'm willing to pay $2 extra to know it's genuine. We've gotten knock offs from Amazon ordering "Apple" chargers at work several times.

No different than a lot of companies nowadays. Tesla having the technology for self-driving in the car already but charges $8k to unlock it. I guess Apple's argument is that you likely have a charger already but can unlock the 20w fast feature by buying an upgraded one. //@Anonymous: Apple is so sensitive about the environment. What is there to 'not' understand? they are holding all of those "apple fanatics' hostages and continue to make extra money from them. It has been this way for years and while they know it, they still want to pay so why not? from not having a SD card reader so you "have to" pay more for either apple cloud or bigger storage and still need to pay for more in cloud to now an adapter? I'll stay with Android and get all of those things for free and get better camera still. //@Anonymous: Apple is so sensitive about the environment. But they are selling the charger that must have it. We have also bought Apple Chargers that were knockoffs from Amazon, looked real but not.
Just not worth messing up an iphone to save $2.

Does it come with a box? Which is not environmental friendly.

Apple haters, I'm charging my new iPhone 12 with the 12W charger from an iPad 2 that still works fine. It's not a big deal.

Just buy the anker 20w one on Amazon, it cheaper and also a smaller brick.

Sounds like an Apple hater right here. If you can’t afford Apple products, that is fine. But you don’t need to clutter deal postings with your negative comments. //@anonymous: What is there to 'not' understand? they are holding all of those "apple fanatics' hostages and continue to make extra money from them. I don't think most Apple users are tech savvy enough to care about upgrading the charging to 20w and are perfectly fine with an old 5w charger. So in a way it may be better for the environment if only 10-25% of the iPhone 12 users buy this. //@Anonymous: Apple is so sensitive about the environment. I know for sure Anker is a very reliable alternative brand. Some of the randomly named Chinese knock offs on Amazon I would probably avoid though //@anonymous: We have also bought Apple Chargers that were knockoffs from Amazon, looked real but not.
