AT&T has decided that existing customers are not as important as new customers. Hence all the best deals are for folks who are willing to port-in to AT&T.
The way around is to leave AT&T for a couple of months and then come back to get the best deal.

Be careful with Amazon, I once bought a Google charger+cable but got a fake (sold & shipped by Amazon). No packaging just in a ziploc bag. The replacement was the same. Later learned that Amazon items and 3rd party items are all mixed up in Amazon warehouse.
