If somehow you turn on your air conditioner first time in summer and forgot to take this off, it will be burned.

What do you mean? Turning on am AC unit with no air flow would be a disaster //@anonymous: You absolutely do not know what you are talking about. //@anonymous: If somehow you turn on your air conditioner first time in summer and forgot to take this off, it will be burned.

You do not know how A/C systems work. This is apparent. Let alone thermal shut offs. Also, this is for a residential condenser fan. It does not pull air into the house. This does not restrict airflow from a blower. That simply doesn’t happen. Stop making things up. //@anonymous: What do you mean? You don't understand what I'm talking about. AC out unit is designed to withstand all the weather conditions, this cover is unnecessary. On the other hand, if you accidentally turn on your AC without taking this cover off, your condenser will be burned in less than a hour. This actually happened to my friend. //@Anonymous: You do not know how A/C systems work. This is apparent. Let alone thermal shut offs. Also, this is for a residential condenser fan. Let me chime in…..this cover is unneeded, useless, and thats why its in sale… //@anonymous: You don't understand what I'm talking about. Condenser fins not getting dirty and debris on off seasons is useful. It’s shown here because it’s on sale not because it’s not needed. Also, if a condenser “burned out” then the condenser had issues beforehand. They are supposed to get hotter than it is outside and if it doesn’t cool the refrigerant back to liquid it shuts down not “burn out”. Stop spreading lies based on opinion instead of facts. //@anonymous: Let me chime in…..this cover is unneeded, useless, and thats why its in sale… //@anonymous: You don't understand what I'm talking about. This is worse than the misinformation. Condescending on knowledge is not cleverness. Condescending on labor is not luxury. //@anonymous: Wow So many HVAC experts on dealsea. Don’t you guys have A/C to fix?
