Any idea for how long do you have to keep Fi before taking the phone to a different carrier?

Coverage is what you get with T mobile in most places. I like their added features of call screening and transcribed voicemails. //@Anonymous: anyone had experience with google fi, how was the phone call reception and 5G data speed? thanks

Does Google Fi sell unlocked phones?
Yes. Any device you get from Google Fi comes unlocked and can be used with other wireless providers if you choose to leave our service.

My case is even worse. The CSR said it is canceled, but they still charge me automatically until being caught. Then I called again to cancel again. Not reliable and trustable company //@anonymous: Painful to cancel. Have to chat for 10-15 min

I agree. I would either buy an iPhone or a more economy one. It does not make sense to buy something in the middle. //@anonymous: Another $100 off would be sweet and $200 off would be YMMV. At this price yeww!!

I can't think of any use of 5G for now. Why bother.

Why would anyone use this when you can just download the Google Voice app and use for free on your cell phone?

Because you need to have voice service on your phone to use the app on your phone to make and receive calls. This will give you a landline without a monthly fee as long as google don’t charge for google voice. //@anonymous: Why would anyone use this when you can just download the Google Voice app and use for free on your cell phone?
