Good deal. Replaced my Lenovo Carbon laptop (died after a year) with Dell XPS 13. Dell XPS 13 still works and looks like new after 2 and half years.

after 3 years, my legion is still going strong, pretty competitive product compared to my XPS. At this point it really comes down to which one's cooling function last longer. //@Anonymous: Good deal. These days AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPU are faster than Intel, so Intel new 10th gen laptops are heavily discounted to be sold. We will see more of this big discount. You might still get a good deal if you buy Ryzen laptop as those run faster yet more affordable.

Agreed! this particular one "looks" good at a glance but it's a low level 10th gen. It has to be at least 10710U to be close to compatible with Ryzen 7 4000, so this price is a bit high, unless you have some kind of discount from Dell. Again, it still needs to be at least at 10700U //@Anonymous: These days AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPU are faster than Intel, so Intel new 10th gen laptops are heavily discounted to be sold. It depends what you focus on. This is a 2-in-1 machine, and for thinness, can't fit the 6-core CPU with a high power nVidia GPU together due to heat diffusion. Also, if you focus on GPU, AMD R7-4700's APU can't beat nVidia MX250.
This is the black edition, which is a high end configuration. //@Anonymous: Agreed! this particular one "looks" good at a glance but it's a low level 10th gen. This laptops screen is very nice. A laptop with premium screen usually costs a lot more. It depends on your preference, screen or processing power. I bought this computer a week a go for $200 more, and asked Bestbuy to price match since it's within return window. Bestbuy refunded back $200 + tax.

Intel based notebooks are heavily discounted these days since it is inferior to new AMD Ryzen based laptops that outperform in spec and price.

Don't buy Dell XPS laptops, XPS 13 and 15 got a lot of issues, and the worst thing is, these issues mostly appear right after the warranty expires. Most of them need the motherboard replaced, which would cost $500-$600 for parts alone. Just google xps issues to see yourself.
