Yes you can, make sure you have Microsoft's account. Same account can install the software you have purchased into different computers under this account. //@Anonymous: If I change computer later, can I move it to the new computer?

It is different kind of activation process. You will need to download the software image provided by the woot page, install from there, then apply the key. Read the instructions. //@oldwife: DO NOT BUY!!! The license key I received is unable to register to my MS account. It is the grey market license keys.

Sale for MS Office Pro 21 permanent key usually goes “in for one” or “pass I’ll say with the sub”. What the heck is with all the grey market and pirated key talk? Just buy or pass.

But why use software-based Microsoft Office? Kids are using Google Workspace in school these days and one day, your 35 year old boss will tell you to stop using old file storage methods and store files in the cloud.

Mainly because it is still, and will be for a long time, the most widely used, most powerful office software in the world, and is a skill of choice for employers. //@Anonymous: But why use software-based Microsoft Office? I still prefer to have permanent ownership over software and media, when available. Relying on cloud storage can result in me eventually losing access, or having to jump through certain hoops to access that software/media that I don't like. I'm sure this sentiment will be gone soon, but I'm not there yet. One fee and done for good is my style. //@Anonymous: But why use software-based Microsoft Office? Most people don't even use most of the capabilities of these productivity suites and convenience eventually trumps features in many cases. //@anonymous: Mainly because it is still, and will be for a long time, the most widely used, most powerful office software in the world, and is a skill of choice for employers. //@Anonymous: But why use software-based Microsoft Office? Assuming you haven't had a real job. Office is a key tool. Would rather have the full version at home for lifetime then the free one or subscription. //@Anonymous: But why use software-based Microsoft Office? To pay $40 once is better than the free version. You cannot explain why people use this to people that don’t use this. They only think about why they won’t buy this so responding to their comment is moot. //@anonymous: To pay $40 once is better than the free version. I had Office 2019 installed before executing Setup.exe in the .IMG file, instead of installing from the virtual disk, it actually automatically downloaded from Microsoft, and upgraded all of the Office 2019 programs, including Publisher, OneNote, besides Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
