Because Apple users don't care about price. //@anonymous: Why is the Mac version much more expensive?

This $25 life time version no need to pay annually fee (subscription), right?
Alexoi
Bewere. This is the fine print at the webpage.
This version is designed for PCs that need a new license for Windows and meet the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. If your PC is running Windows 10 and you are unable to use Windows Update to install the free upgrade to Windows 11, you will not be able to install this version of Windows 11.

I still prefer to have permanent ownership over software and media, when available. Relying on cloud storage can result in me eventually losing access, or having to jump through certain hoops to access that software/media that I don't like. I'm sure this sentiment will be gone soon, but I'm not there yet. One fee and done for good is my style. //@Anonymous: But why use software-based Microsoft Office? You cannot explain why people use this to people that don’t use this.
