Endup paying $50x12+$99 = $699/year. similar plan in othe carrier with your own device is around $25. You actually pay $25 X 12 + $99 = $399 for the phone andstuck wit i for a year.

seems you wouldn't have to pay for all 12 months of service, though, right? just first month activation? then unlock 1 year later? value of device for future trade in or resell or someone else use on other carrier?
(I'm still trying to find all details to confirm)
