Dealsea, I love the idea of suggesting alternatives! Another alternative is the noodle maker attachment for Kitchenaid blenders. That requires a lot more manual work, but the result is even better than these two.

Thank you very much for suggestion. New alternative added. //@anonymous: Dealsea, I love the idea of suggesting alternatives! Another alternative is the noodle maker attachment for Kitchenaid blenders. That requires a lot more manual work, but the result is even better than these two.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I brought a very good brand noodle maker a few years ago from China but donated to Goodwill after 10 times usage. Kitchen aid attachment seems very good. //@Anonymous: Dealsea, I love the idea of suggesting alternatives! Another alternative is the noodle maker attachment for Kitchenaid blenders. Paste is $1 - $2 a case... Why make it your self?? Unless you ate A LOT OF pasta... I guess.

I have not used the Kitchenaid attachment but I like this pasta maker a lot(I used the manual one which is a joke compared to this machine) . You just add flour and water/egg in and get noodles out in less than 10 minutes. It is so easy to use and last long. Mine was bought over 3 years ago and it is still running strong. I use it at least once a week. Not mentioning the different choices of pasta you can make. It is a truly breeze.

Because when you make it yourself, you know for sure what ingredients are in it and you avoid preservatives. //@Anonymous: Paste is $1 - $2 a case... Why make it your self?? Unless you ate A LOT OF pasta... I guess.

You buy it in store and it says the ingredients in it as well. Usually only wheat and water. //@anonymous: Because when you make it yourself, you know for sure what ingredients are in it and you avoid preservatives. //@Anonymous: Paste is $1 - $2 a case... Disassemble the chamber and leave it in the air for a few hours. The dried dough will come out very easily. There is also a cleaning tool to clean the shaping disc. //@anonymous: How hard is it to clean this thing?

I own this for years, it's easy to disassemble and get cleaned within just minutes. //@Anonymous: How hard is it to clean this thing?

I have had its previous version for 6 years. It’s very easy to clean, simply put, it would make it appear more difficult if I explain how easy it is here than how it actually is after you see the disassembled parts. //@anonymous: How hard is it to clean this thing?
