Why is this a deal? A while ago, these inkjet printers were going like $50 or less. What has improved? And 5x? //@anonymous: Deal

This print quality is really good. I can print a lot of $100 bills. And will pass as a real bill.

Used it for a while already and there is no thermal throttle issue like the 14” version. Fast, quiet and smooth like a butter. //@anonymous: The reviews ain't even out yet, as the release date is next Tues, r u tripping... //@Anonymous: Review shows it gets overhead quickly and throttling like crazy. Never buy the first generation.

Apple does not update OS 7 years after the release date. This has only three more years and then you cannot update the OS

The printer itself is OK, but this model uses expensive ink cartridges that have microchips to prevent you from refilling with generic ink.

Thanks for sharing the information, almost pull the trigger

You almost have to subscribe to their EZ print refresh service for this printer as it makes more sense from the cost perspective, although for occasional prints it is not bad at all ($2.50 per month for 40 pages).

Anonymous
The included cartridges are samples to promote their subscription service. You are supposed to buy the chipless version yourself seperately. //@anonymous: The printer itself is OK, but this model uses expensive ink cartridges that have microchips to prevent you from refilling with generic ink.

This second generation. First generation is $149. $80 more for second generation. You don't really need second generation if you want to spend $80 on something better or even not spend it. //@cheetah: 1st generation? //@anonymous: Walmart has it for 149$

Why not just get the ultra 2 for $20 more??

Good point. Honestly, I always just get the highest priced Apple products available. Otherwise I'm sure I would just end up worrying that someone else has a better, higher-end one than I got. 1080 is good for up to 24”, it’s horrible for 27” unless you never read text on the monitor. You need at least 1440 QHD on 27. //@anonymous: Bestbuy has 27inch for the same price //@Anonymous: Good deal?

$197 now

remember, FHD = Full HD = its only 1080p.
and yes for 27', highly recommend 1440 or 2160 (4K). the price wasn't much different. Go do your research for 1440. you wont regret it to upgrade to UHD (1440) instead of just stick to FHD (1080p) cuz its cheap. If you use the monitor on daily basis, invest better ones. Long usage help your eyes as well.

Regular price was $119, then $129, $134, and now $145 and call it a deal? Go back to $109 and we got a deal for HP’s lowest priced monitor.
Anonymous
MSRP is $119. The pandemic is overall. It’s a budget but flimsy monitor but definitely beat any competition at $119. However, anything >= $119 is no deal.
