I love Macbook Pro for their performance and above all the reliability. I still have an MBP working flawlessly since 2012 (had to change battery once). My gripe with the latest MBPs are Apple's strategy of soldering RAM and SSD to the motherboard thus making upgrades impossible. I understand this is a way to make more money upfront, but leads to customer dissatisfaction.

1), M1 is super fast with no heat. 2), Mac is very efficient in using memory. I am a programmer converted from PC to MAC ~ 10 years ago, never look back. Of course, I bought a MacBook Pro, but I got a M1 MacBook Air for my son, he is very happy about it.

Previous gen M1 processors are a better value and should be more than sufficient for 70-80% of all users. If anything, Apple has bad marketing. No professional user is going to buy the MB with low specs, and no average user is going to spend $1.2K+ on it either. They should have significantly lowered the price, or not have an option with 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

It is with an older 12th gen CPU. The CPU has 12 cores/16 threads and its overall performance is still very good though The integrated Intel Iris Xe video card is kind of weak. Generally speaking, this laptop is good for folks who want to a 16" portable lightweight laptop with good computing performance.

For iOS integration and features offered because it's part of the ecosystem, it works great. Sure there are better watches for specific needs ie. But there was no refund status showing, and after waiting another week I still did not get my money back. So this past Saturday I contacted Amazon customer service again, and the representative filed an Amazon A-to-z Guarantee claim for me. A couple of minutes ago I received a message that my credit card got the refund, but the return shipping cost was not included. I believe if you are facing the same issue with the seller, just contact Amazon directly. According to customer service, you don’t even need to ship the glue stick back to get the refund. In my humble opinion, Amazon did a great job handling this.
