It’s been 4 years since the AirPods 2 have been released and mines still work now when bought on release. //@anonymous: These are suppose to be disposal items at the end. Even when you send these in for repair or battery, they just dispose of them and issue a new pair. Basically the cost to repair/refurbish is not worth the cost of the item. With that in mind, there are plenty of alternative BT ear buds that offer the same sound quality at a fraction of the cost. It's crazy small for the price, but when you're a professional photographer (on the smaller side) and try editing on an Asus ProArt monitor, the Apple Studio Display is simply the best at color representation. Get an Apple Card and pay monthly using the EDU site for the discount.

While there is a cost aspect of it, there are not that many monitors comparable in quality to this at this price. Dell U4021QW ultrasharp is closest at a $300 cheaper ticket but its nowhere close to this quality on color gamut or brightness not to mention the lack of camera or speakers. The closest is the LG 5K ultrafine but it is of the same price as of today $1299 and its speakers are not upto sample - I have this monitor as well and I know. I am not trying to sell this monitor but slinging mud should be based on facts IMHO.

I personally think apple tags are useless for all practical purposes. It is at best works if it is in the same room as your phone. You move to a different location with as minimum as with 2-3 walls it does not work. Bought one and never delivered. The driver steals product and labeled the item was delivered!!! Called customer service and reported it and get refunded but wasted several days …. I only use third party toner in 7 different hp laserjet printers with no issues. I’ve never had to replace any other part after 4 years, unlike brother printers that require new drums after 12k pages. //@anonymous: Just remember HP toner is $$$. 3rd party has unreliable results. Add to revaluation maintenance of rollers and whatnot. May easily add up to the cost of the printer.

With the M4 chip, Apple set the machine base memory is 16GB - no more 8GB. Something is about to change in the next few years that caused Apple to make that decision.
Apple machine is not cheap. You may have spend above $1K to buy a machine that can be crippled/excluded to future updates because of the hardware limitation. And there is no way to upgrade the memory, storage to bigger capacity on a Mac If you definitely have to buy a Mac, get the 16 GB memory.

Not only that but as other's mentioned, they also can make 16gb the minimum for mac OS in ~2-3 years from now and all those users won't be able to upgrade. At least then they'll finally stop selling 8gb models by then ... which they've been selling for the last 20 years or so.

8GB is not enough. It is very possible in the next 2-3 years Apple will not allow iOS update due to not enough memory .

Here is the comment from XDA.

By setting the minimum memory requirement for Predictive Code Completion higher than what base-model Macs offer now, Apple is effectively admitting that 8GB isn't really enough. Even if it is enough for today, it certainly won't be enough for much longer.

For laptop, 4060 is a sweet spot. Less than 10% slower than 4070 and 30% faster than 4050. 4070 is a real trash IMO //@anonymous: RTX4060 sucks
