Mine is not good. At the first year, it worked very well. After warranty expired, left side of the earbud keeps disconnecting from the case. I have to put the left earbud back to make it work.

It’s been 4 years since the AirPods 2 have been released and mines still work now when bought on release. //@anonymous: These are suppose to be disposal items at the end. Even when you send these in for repair or battery, they just dispose of them and issue a new pair. Basically the cost to repair/refurbish is not worth the cost of the item. With that in mind, there are plenty of alternative BT ear buds that offer the same sound quality at a fraction of the cost. I have an MBP Late 2011 with macOS High Sierra and the AirPods 3 connects just fine. //@anonymous: It’s worth noted that these will only work with ios 15 and up. If you choose to stay on ios 14 then it won’t connect, same with mac connectivity - work with os monterey and up.

You may be using wrong battery. You need 2032 battery -- 2025 battery also work in powering it up but the capacity of 2025 battery is way smaller than 2032 and it will drain super quickly. //@Anonymous: Eats up battery quickly. Replaced batteries within 2 weeks.

And the thermal mechanism dominated most of its cost.
