all label printers use thermal transfer technology, no ink/toner consumption at all, the thermal transfer has the advantage of low consumable cost and fast printing, but the downside is considerably low printing resolution. And the thermal mechanism dominated most of its cost. This dual printer model should be used in a fast pace environment like takeout counter to double printer efficiency and at this price point, this one is unbeatable //@Anonymous: Market share? 1), M1 is super fast with no heat. 2), Mac is very efficient in using memory. I am a programmer converted from PC to MAC ~ 10 years ago, never look back. Of course, I bought a MacBook Pro, but I got a M1 MacBook Air for my son, he is very happy about it.

Previous gen M1 processors are a better value and should be more than sufficient for 70-80% of all users. If anything, Apple has bad marketing. No professional user is going to buy the MB with low specs, and no average user is going to spend $1.2K+ on it either. They should have significantly lowered the price, or not have an option with 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

We own this set, and it is amazing in both construction and detail. Many LEGO sets cost around 10 cents per piece… this set is now around half that cost. Absolutely a deal.

Yes, it has gotten more expensive but they continue to be popular. With the pandemic, more people are at home so this is something that they can do with their kids (or even for their own sanity). Supply and demand. Yeah, if it’s the Mac mini with 256gb SSD the m2 version is slower than the m1 version //@anonymous: I moved from m1 base model to m2 base and I feel like m2 is slower. I am a typical user using Mac for emails and surfing. Going to trade in m2 for m3 when mini comes out.

The M1 version doesn't suffer the low band issue in the 256Gb model. And you probably don't use it open a hundred tabs and two IDE windows with Docker containers in the back.
