In Engineering, we’re allowed to use “scientific” calculator which could only do exponential (base x) calculations.

When I moved to Western country, I was shocked to find that there are calculators which can do curves, pde, matrix … still happy that I did by hand.

It’s not about competency of the teachers. It is about TI having an anti-competitive stranglehold on testing. //@anonymous: It's not about competition, but about the competency of teachers. There are apps on cell phones that can do exactly the same thing with the exact same interface. However, cell phones are not allowed in classrooms. Because this is the standard tool for high school/college math education. Each school district/university has invested tons of money to buy these calculators. You can use those calculators for whatever you want, but you can't use those on tests. People know that if they want to pass the tests they need to learn the math.

It highly depends on what you are using the watch for. For workout, running and fitness purposes garmin is best. For smartwatch features and app ecosystem can’t beat Apple. So depends o. we have no technology that can find sugar without blood. Libre Or Dexcomm needs a sensor pin inside body for 10-14 days.I will not trust any product that can measure sugar touching skin. not possible for longtime.
