Technology always advance at steady speed because of competition. With trade war and covid, sellers no longer competing. They can still jack up the price on ancient monitors instead of slashing prices. While they can make good money on these junks, there is no need to create new products. You may be using wrong battery. You need 2032 battery -- 2025 battery also work in powering it up but the capacity of 2025 battery is way smaller than 2032 and it will drain super quickly. //@Anonymous: Eats up battery quickly. Replaced batteries within 2 weeks.
