It just goes to show you how much they made on ink cartridges that we were forced to buy all these years! The cartridges were made with the detection windows at half height so they would tell you to buy new cartridges when they are still half full. It's so wasteful and a total scam!

i7 is about 60% faster and cost $100+ more.

Yes, it has gotten more expensive but they continue to be popular. With the pandemic, more people are at home so this is something that they can do with their kids (or even for their own sanity). Technology always advance at steady speed because of competition. With trade war and covid, sellers no longer competing. They can still jack up the price on ancient monitors instead of slashing prices. While they can make good money on these junks, there is no need to create new products. You knew nothing about technology so I don’t know how much longer you can stay in this business. //@anonymous: What are you talking about? None of what you said makes any sense coming from someone that has global supplier and manufacturing industry experience. What you feel a price should be doesn’t mean any other higher price is price gouging. //@anonymous: I bought 2 of these for $109 a while back. Trade war and covid are stalling competition and setting technology backwards. If it wasn’t for trade war and covid, this monitor would be sold for $79 nowadays and much better monitors would be available for $119. Now is too easy for manufacturers to make money with junks like this so there’s no need to compete or innovate.
