It’s been 4 years since the AirPods 2 have been released and mines still work now when bought on release. //@anonymous: These are suppose to be disposal items at the end. Even when you send these in for repair or battery, they just dispose of them and issue a new pair. Basically the cost to repair/refurbish is not worth the cost of the item. With that in mind, there are plenty of alternative BT ear buds that offer the same sound quality at a fraction of the cost. With the M4 chip, Apple set the machine base memory is 16GB - no more 8GB. Something is about to change in the next few years that caused Apple to make that decision.
Apple machine is not cheap. You may have spend above $1K to buy a machine that can be crippled/excluded to future updates because of the hardware limitation. And there is no way to upgrade the memory, storage to bigger capacity on a Mac If you definitely have to buy a Mac, get the 16 GB memory.

8GB is not enough. It is very possible in the next 2-3 years Apple will not allow iOS update due to not enough memory .

Here is the comment from XDA.

By setting the minimum memory requirement for Predictive Code Completion higher than what base-model Macs offer now, Apple is effectively admitting that 8GB isn't really enough. Even if it is enough for today, it certainly won't be enough for much longer.

It's crazy small for the price, but when you're a professional photographer (on the smaller side) and try editing on an Asus ProArt monitor, the Apple Studio Display is simply the best at color representation. Get an Apple Card and pay monthly using the EDU site for the discount.

The LG 5K display is good works well with macbooks and mini and studio and pretty much all macs. wait, it costs the same as the apple studio, guess that does not work for you huh ! //@anonymous: Over priced. While there is a cost aspect of it, there are not that many monitors comparable in quality to this at this price. Dell U4021QW ultrasharp is closest at a $300 cheaper ticket but its nowhere close to this quality on color gamut or brightness not to mention the lack of camera or speakers. The closest is the LG 5K ultrafine but it is of the same price as of today $1299 and its speakers are not upto sample - I have this monitor as well and I know. I am not trying to sell this monitor but slinging mud should be based on facts IMHO.

My co-worker was annoyed that his Studio display doesn't have any kind of multi input source support. He basically has to unplug one computer and plug in another. That would be a deal breaker for me. I switch my Dell between a desktop and laptop regularly.
