i bought three 4tb and two 2tb of them as a photographer, i fill them on a daily basis....2tb are dead, didnt even make it 6 months, before files went missing or corrupt. two of the 4tb developed same issues just took 9-10 months....sandisk replaced them all, and i sold the new ones they sent me. changed over to a usb-c nvme enclosure and nvme drives, no issues. //@Anonymous: Just because most people bought 2TB version. It's crazy small for the price, but when you're a professional photographer (on the smaller side) and try editing on an Asus ProArt monitor, the Apple Studio Display is simply the best at color representation. Get an Apple Card and pay monthly using the EDU site for the discount.

While there is a cost aspect of it, there are not that many monitors comparable in quality to this at this price. Dell U4021QW ultrasharp is closest at a $300 cheaper ticket but its nowhere close to this quality on color gamut or brightness not to mention the lack of camera or speakers. The closest is the LG 5K ultrafine but it is of the same price as of today $1299 and its speakers are not upto sample - I have this monitor as well and I know. I am not trying to sell this monitor but slinging mud should be based on facts IMHO.
