micro center is my first store choice, if there's one around you, esp in NJ, they somehow got down the tax to 3.5% in the garden state, while state tax around double that. Last time, I was checking a Mac mini, micro center got nice promotions like 150 off, and with the tax save makes it even sweeter. Not avaialbe in NY on the special tax save.

Don't trust Samsung any more. My Samsung monitor lasted 2 years. My other monitors last at least 5 years or more and were cheaper. My Samsung fridge lasted 3 years. One of the Samsung pads lasted a year, the other one longer.

If 256G was not a single module like M1 Air, this is a great choice, but since it is not, go either m1 air or m1 pro, depending on your needs. I got both, one for my daughter and one for me, and yes, I tried M2 256G and M2 512G, but the former is slow, the latter is too expensive compared to its capability.

Other than slightly slimmer, same thing all around. //@anonymous: Went with the Spiderman-2 Slim model $474 in target //@Anonymous: it more depends on which game you prefer Spiderman 2 or cod 3. The Walmart one is current version PS5 with much bigger size, non detachable disc drive, about 200GB less internal storage. Otherwise they are the same console. Some may like the old one and thinks it look cool, some may like the new one with more compact design. //@Anonymous: Walmart has the 5 disc version coming up? which one is better
