After your application has been accepted, the 70$ gift card will show on your amazon account. //@Anonymous: I don't see $70 gift card

By anonymous on 01/13/2017, 04:00 PM EST
Name one pls... //@anonymous: many cards will give you $400-$500 cash, don't waste time on this card, only $70, not worth for the hard pull of your credit score

By anonymous on 01/13/2017, 02:01 PM EST
just applied but got pended with even a 800 fico..i think CHase is crewing applicants with the 5X24 rule..nobody is gaming this card..

By anonymous on 01/13/2017, 08:07 AM EST
i had the further consideration required on Monday, and Friday morning, approved with 5k limit. not that I need to spend $5k on amazon, but i'll take it

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 11:07 PM EST
Be careful. If you are an invited guest for the prime account, then you would not be qualified for 5% reward.

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 08:01 PM EST
Yes. You need to log in and change the 3% to 5% //@anonymous: Is this the same card as the old Chase Amazon Rewards Card?

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 07:59 PM EST
$70 credited to my account right after online approval. Fast! I am an existing prime member.

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 07:01 PM EST
Only show $50 gift. Where's $70?

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 06:37 PM EST
Just as target and best buy give 5% off for their credit card customers, it was high time amazon did this for their prime plus credit customers.

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 06:26 PM EST
$500 credit line, What the heck. I spent thousands each year on Amazon.

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 05:52 PM EST
Yes, I do have the prime membership, but I still didn't see $70 GC in my Amazon account. Do I need call Amazon just as somebody suggested? Thanks. //@Anonymous: $70 only shows up on primary members account. Does not work for "invitees". In other words it is only available for the account that pays for the annual membership. //@anonymous: I don't see $70 gift card

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 05:50 PM EST
Middle of week + 2 days shipping, you mean weekend? //@Anonymous: We find Amazon very helpful. We live far from any good grocery and departmental stores and can only go to them in the weekends. If we need something in the middle of the week, Amazon Prime gets those in 2 days and that has saved our lives. Also, there are many unique things that we can get only in Amazon (for example, we had a major ant problem--Home Depot things did not solve it---bought something for 6$ from Amazon---problem solved). So, 3 cheers for Amazon.

I did this as your saying. How can I receive $70 GC? Thanks. //@Anonymous: Do this to upgrade if you are the original Amazon (Chase) card holder. It's pretty easy

the $100 i spent on prime is one of the best value i can get out of $100. You might get one piece free one place, another piece free another place, but it does not worth my time to go to many places. Everyone price match to amazon, then why not buy at amazon

Amazon is so overrated! No fooling anymore. Occasional Amazon's deal, most stores would price match with Amazon these days, so why pay prime membership?

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 04:00 PM EST
looks like i got upgraded. but where do you see if you got a gift card or not? //@Anonymous: It is not about prime membership, it is about if you had the GC before or not. //@Anonymous: It is not new member only. I am a prime member for a few years and I just got the card and $70 gift card. //@anonymous: Okay...update on the $70 GC. It is only for new prime members or new cardholders. For those of us who's already become members, we are not applicable.

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 03:06 PM EST
I'm a prime member and had the old amazon card.. my card was upgraded automatically. Check in your amazon account (not chase) /payment method for the cashback % you are getting... 5%=got the upgrade; 3%=didn't get it and can try to follow the direction for grade

It's the best card. Costco make profit by membership, not by merchandise. So whatever it's credit card or product, Costco will give you the best and cheapest. //@Anonymous: Is get the citi Costco visa you get 4% cash back on gas and 2 percent at Costco with one percent everywhere. It's really great deal plus you get check @ the end of year you go to Costco they'll give you cash for it.

So weird when people can't get what they want and tag the thing as fishy. It didn't smell fishy when you applied for it but it did when you got rejected..Strange. //@Anonymous: No, it means you might have applied for too many Chase cards in the past 2 years, esp Sapphire or Sapphire Preferred. //@anonymous: I have a very high credit score and they still said they need a further consideration, which usually means my application is rejected. I think the requirement is extremely strict or the whole deal is fishy...

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 01:02 PM EST
not worth it.

it's a good card, but what's the special feature of this card that I cannot get from other card?

plus, this card will encourage your to purchase more things that you don't need from Amazon.

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 12:23 PM EST
For those with high credit score and still being considered, the trick is to select the highest income in the box. Does not matter your score is 900 and don't have $ to pay them back, they don't like that. Remember the old man said "No Money, No Honey".

By anonymous on 01/12/2017, 12:15 PM EST
I went into my Amazon Wallet on my Amazon.com account and checked. The card has been automatically upgraded. This part of the mystery has been solved. Calling Amazon right now to find out about the $70 GC. Will update soon. //@Anonymous: I think it is. I clicked on the link and it showed I already have this card, and after clicking "account summary" it directed me to Chase.
It's a Chase-Amazon visa upgrade.
I want to know if I can still get the $70 GC. //@Anonymous: Is this the same card as the old Chase Amazon Rewards Card?

I applied last night and got approved immediately. The $70 GC appeared in my Amazon account and the card connected immediately to my Chase and Amazon accounts.
