there is no real guideline of dosage for handsoap, so some dilution is fine. the formulation effort is mainly on how it 'feels' - foamy, concentrated, or feel smooth, gentle to skin. and trick is to use viscosity modifier, foam booster, and add some oil and glycerin. The pH of dish soap (mostly 6-8, some can be 10) could be higher than hand soap (around 6,7) so a bit harsh to skin if it happens to be 10. it may grows mold more easily with dilution because micros like water and neutral pH.

You omitted the word diluted there. Science is not difficult you just need to learn it not guess it. //@anonymous: dilute dish washer 70/30, its still soap

Do you people dilute your medicine to make it last longer too? What the heck - Imagine your doctor diluting your meds to help you have more and “save money”. Just use foaming OR regular pump - not try and turn one into the other.

used to buy this and walmart brand. lately have been making it at home for much cheaper and same results. mix water with regular handsoap for 1:1 or 2:1 should do the work. you are welcome
