I think it depends. I have verizon fios previously for 74.99 w taxes
I got a new connection and moved to verizon byod for $500 cash back
It has new perks hulu, espn+ which I need and fios gives $200 cash back + home security 8 pieces and whole home wifi extender so for me its a deal //@Anonymous: 5g plan is the key, so same price,not really a deal

Verizon is not honest about this promotion in New York City. Gift card is 100 for 1 g plan and $99 install fee is required.
