Finish tabs seems to work fine on plates with no metal finish but it ate into the metal trim of our Noritsake Austin plates. We switched to Kirkland brand from Costco after noticing the issue and didn't have any problems since. We had to replace 6 plates that were pitted because of the Finish tablets.
