Roku is absolutely not old school lmao. They release software updates all the time. //@anonymous: get a Onn android tv stick for $20 or firetv stick for the same price, much better deal than the super old school roku device. i really don't know why Roku is still around. so boring

The moment roku call their (air quote) channel as (air quote) apps, like everyone else. They are golden!

Bought Roku and fire tv a few years ago. Now Roku is still usable with software update, not fire tv stuff //@anonymous: get a Onn android tv stick for $20 or firetv stick for the same price, much better deal than the super old school roku device. i really don't know why Roku is still around. so boring

We have firesticks on all our tvs. Picked up a new tv for our bedroom that happened to have roku built in, I have to say I'm impressed with the roku os. Easy to navigate, apps never hang or need to be manually closed like on the firestick sometime.

Roku is much easier to use, with all the channels well organized and easy to navigate. Like it a lot. //@Anonymous: We have firesticks on all our tvs. Picked up a new tv for our bedroom that happened to have roku built in, I have to say I'm impressed with the roku os. For many years of dealsea-er, i have plenty of unused out dated laptop i bought from dealsea. I plugged 7 of them into my 7 tvs and still have surpluses. I dont need any more streamer like roku. Thank you.

Same here, and not just tech devices. But I've decided that the net savings across all things I've bought through Dealsea outweighs the few things that end up unused. //@Anonymous: For many years of dealsea-er, i have plenty of unused out dated laptop i bought from dealsea. Roku is still the best streaming device in the market, really like it. But this one is express, ultra is better. Amazon fire TV stick is really bad, very slow, keeps loading forever.

Is there a lot of good free content with Roku? Or do you have to use subscriptions for all the content providers? Thank you.

I recently sign up Roku and find out for those free movies, there are multiple 1:30 mins ad time in each of them, quite annoying.
As a comparison, in Amazon prime video (the free version), the ADis only 30 secs, much less distraction.
I plan to close my Roku account soon. Just some info here. //@Anonymous: Is there a lot of good free content with Roku? Or do you have to use subscriptions for all the content providers? Thank you.

is this new? never heard of this product before. according to amazon, Refresh Rate 240, that's just too good to be true for a 43 inch 4k IPS monitor/tv at $500

This is not monitor. This is just a TV or a display. There is no PIP/PBP.
Why not just get a 43" TV from costco, which will have the same feature.
