Roku is still the best streaming device in the market, really like it. But this one is express, ultra is better. Amazon fire TV stick is really bad, very slow, keeps loading forever.

the best resolution of 32 inch monitor is QHD.

You can scale it down to 2k resolution and still get better quality due to over sampling, there is no downside to 4k monitor except that your computer has to be decent specs wise //@anonymous: the best resolution of 32 inch monitor is QHD.

The remote doesn't have private listening, but you can use a cellphone app to do that. I don't know any other streaming device can do this. It's not relied on Bluetooth.

What is private listen?

Private listen means a headphone jack on the remote. Some Roke remote control has this headphone jack where you can plug in a headphone. So you can listen and watch movies without disturbing other people. //@Anonymous: What is private listen?

If you have kids sleep in your room or a connected room, private listen helps a lot. //@anonymous: Private listen means a headphone jack on the remote. I will definitely get a Roku with a remote headphone jack. So useful and I can't image use Roku without it. //@Anonymous: If you have kids sleep in your room or a connected room, private listen helps a lot. //@anonymous: Private listen means a headphone jack on the remote. The firetv interface is a turn off point to some consumers. The interface is extreme busy, packed with many junks that you can't clear nor remove. //@anonymous: why not firetv 4k, a much better HW.

Newer TVs come with Bluetooth connectivity so you can use wireless headphones. Check your TV!

Roku only has 1.5gb RAM or less which is worse than any cell phone in the market. Imagine you stream Amazon Blu-ray show. There is no space to buffer either. Absolutely junk.

I will say a volume button would’ve been nice, other than that all good. Just i notice that it can turn off your tv and hitting the home or whatever turns your tv on, but it would just be cool if it could control your TVs volume without the two remotes. I have a Samsung 4K tv so i already have these 4K apps but chose this because of the fact that Samsung won’t get Apple TV app since we have the year free or whats left with our phones then it’s 5 a month. Roku finally got the deal with Peacock might have to check it out since it’s free just too many tv shows too little time but for movies it’s cool i guess. Ummm i know Roku doesn’t have hbo max last i knew but my Samsung tv does. The tv doesn’t have a lot of memory space and forced junk apps on us we can’t delete... my tv is 2017 model so it had Disney plus and YouTube tv and hbo max added but no Apple TV unless you have either w 2018/2019 or newer...
I actually paid $30 free ship on eBay there’s a ton otherwise $27 isn’t bad since they triggers free ship. At one point i thought Amazon’s free stocks as $50... so yeah i watched a listing on eBay and it was $33-$34 then the seller just offered me $30 I’m like okay then cause they were $40 at Target... just a way to access apps not on the tv too and our living room and another bedroom are Roku TVs (tcl and sharp).

$27 cannot even buy a decent processor. People wake up. This thing craches all the time. Don't get fooled by Roku.

1.5GB ram is plenty as long as there isn't a junk OS running (Android/Windows) //@Anonymous: Roku only has 1.5gb RAM or less which is worse than any cell phone in the market. Imagine you stream Amazon Blu-ray show. There is no space to buffer either. Absolutely junk.
