"Interesting" that my comments over the weekend about the known issues with Ace Hardware e-gift cards was never posted.

To repeat my warning to potential buyers, pls beware of the reported e-commerce scam related to Ace Hardware e-gift cards. I can report from personal experience at multiple locations that starting in Summer '23, Ace Hardware no longer accepts e-gift cards at any of their nationwide checkout counters. This is due to online scammers being able to generate fake e-gift cards on behalf of Ace Hardware and taking your money, while the cards themselves have no $$$ value. Ace Hardware will process transactions at their kiosk and request money from the cards, only to find out that they are fake.

Only trust in gift cards purchased directly from Ace Hardware, and not a third party site!!!
