You may be using wrong battery. You need 2032 battery -- 2025 battery also work in powering it up but the capacity of 2025 battery is way smaller than 2032 and it will drain super quickly. //@Anonymous: Eats up battery quickly. Replaced batteries within 2 weeks.

Remove the vibrator/speaker and place it in a secrete place in your car. The best and cheapest way to locate your car in case it get stolen.
