91% is too powerful to kill virus... it actually fries the outside of cells to get inside to kill the virus. 70-75% is right percentage. You can always mix water with 91% with 1:5 to get 75%. //@Anonymous: Lol, why? //@anonymous: need to dilute it down to 75%.

Things will get better. USA has enough alcohols to be even added to the gas. It was just the supply chain could not catch up with surging demand. If you have enough at home for 1-2 months you can leave those for people that currently don't have any.

He/she is right. It needs to be diluted in order to increase its effects on germs. High concentrations evaporate faster and low concentrations are not effective. To be effective on germs you need a minimum time of contact with germs at the right concentration. This time is reduced in high %. 70%-80% is the best concentration for fighting viruses including covid19. There are many studies on this.
