I bought it in November 2023 for $1000. It's a great laptop. According to the spec it was using DDR4 with max of 32GB. It turned out that mine was using DDR5. Also a 3rd party freeware indicated that it might be upgraded to max of 64GB. I upgraded my with DDR5 32GB ( 16GB x 2) and the laptop runs very fast. I bought it for video editing not for games. The upgrading is very simple process and video is easy to find on youTube. Also there is an empty slot for additional .M2 module in case if you want add space.

I want 256gb , 64gb can’t do too many things now ... a good quality picture taken by iPhone can size up to 13 mb .. if u want to use mini iPad to do some photo or video editing .. 64gb is pain in ass

They should have made 128GB is a base model.
