Just FYI, if you have T-Mobile service they rent it to you for free as long as you keep your service with $25 deposit. I've been renting it for 2 years now.

Don’t buy T-Mobile version! They will Never release the update firmware to fix the security issue.

It’s just a rebranded Asus RT-68U. You can use its firmware, which was just updated this month.

Is this cellspot combined with router? I currently have T-Mobile 4G LTE CellSpot V2 (Nokia) free from T-Mobile plus a TP-Link router. If this is a combo I will go for it. Also, does it have parental controls for both wired and non-wired networks by MAC. My kids spend too much time on tablets, laptop and TV. I want to limit the time. Thanks.

Y s I can use parental control - and whole bunch on this including openvpn.
You need to convert it to a rt68- look online how to do so ...
This is a great router - u won’t need to replace this for sometime //@anonymous: Is this cellspot combined with router? If I understand the terms correctly, it's really a $10 credit for future purchase on Amazon.com when you spend at least $10 at a whole foods store. not sure if it's worth the trouble of going somewhere I never shop.
