I have one for 6 years, used it dozens of times, no complaints
If the lamb was in the freezer, you need to thaw it for couples of hours in the fridge before throwing it to the slicer.
if the lamb if fresh, you will need to freeze it for 1 hour in the freezer before slicing it

It is a cheap solution for slicing meat. Yes, you need to freeze fresh meat first. Quality is ok, you get what you paid for, it does the basic job of slicing.
