Does it require a new line? I looked everywhere but can't find this information so am assuming that new line is not required.

Probably, the catches are: streaming at 480p and hotspots speed at 3G (so kinda useless really).

What is the price for 8 lines total?

First 4 line is $140 and the next 3 lines is 20X3=$60 and tmobile website says 1 free line.

Does that mean $200 for 8 lines? Sounds like a good deal.

You are absolutely right. People are fooled by $10 Netflix cost. I used to be with T-Mobile around 3 years ago and switched to cricket. Believe me faster internet, reception is much better than TMobile, and $100 per month for 4 lines. Never come back to TMobile. //@Anonymous: never understood why people lining up for a crappy deal while outlets like Mint and others can give you a much better deal i.e. $15 vs $35 per line

I think this is if you aren't a Tmo customer you can buy the returned routers. If you are a customer you just go into a store and ask for a CellSpot and they will give you a new one of these for $25 or 30 (don't remember when I did this a couple years ago)
