There is no credible scientific evidence to suggest that Listerine or other mouthwashes cause cancer.

Clinical studies, meta-analyses, quantitative analyses, and systematic reviews of data have demonstrated that there is no causal link between the use of LISTERINE® Antiseptic mouthrinse and oral cancer or xerostomia.

Interesting I did a search on google scholar after saw your comment. There are a few studies over two decades ago supported the increasing oral cancer risk with mouthwash use. The latest ones (past 5 years) support that "the use of alcohol-containing mouthwashes alone does not increase the risk of developing an oral cancer or lead to increased salivary acetaldehyde. However, where other risk factors for oral cancer are present, the use of an alcohol-based mouthwash may further increase this risk." //@Anonymous: Clinical studies, meta-analyses, quantitative analyses, and systematic reviews of data have demonstrated that there is no causal link between the use of LISTERINE® Antiseptic mouthrinse and oral cancer or xerostomia.

Given the potential random death sentence peanuts can give to children you couldn't pay me to serve peanut butter at a day care. Don't know if they could get you for involuntary manslaughter; but, a mistake like that would haunt you for life. Btw,the Disney corporation recently murdered someone at one of their restaurants who had a declared peanut allergy. The Disney defense was their family couldn't sue them because they had agreed not to when they signed up for Disney plus a few years prior (terms of service agreement). The PR nightmare made Bob Iger graciously allow a single exception to this rule and allow the family the honor of suing them. //@anonymous: This is the "Daycare Edition"

That was really gracious of Bob. He probably learned it from the Disney princesses. We can all learn from Disney princesses. //@anonymous: Given the potential random death sentence peanuts can give to children you couldn't pay me to serve peanut butter at a day care.
