Everything sold at Instacart is more expensive than at store, plus a lot of additional charges (delivery fee, service fee, tip...). Only a portion of this $200 will go to groceries.

most upcharges are 10%. This gift card balances that. The service fee is not that much and with free delivery with plus membership its worth it. You don't spend time and gas to do your groceries

It's not always convenient. Some shoppers do not select produce, do not look for a product you need, and do not bother to find alternatives in case something is out of stock or they can't find it - which I understand: they are not shopping for themselves, and they don't want to waste too much time on a single order. You are the one left to deal with bad or missing ingredients in your planned meal. After a few instances, I'd rather bite the bullet and drive to a grocery store on my own. //@Anonymous: Convenience is not free. //@Anonymous: Everything sold at Instacart is more expensive than at store, plus a lot of additional charges (delivery fee, service fee, tip...). Depends on where you shop. If you shop at expensive places, the upcharge is perhaps not that much. But if you shop at cheap stores like ALDI, the upcharge can be up to 50%-80% of the regular price in my experience. //@Anonymous: most upcharges are 10%. This gift card balances that. In my area, there is only minimal surcharge with ALDI; Costco surcharge is 7% for grocery and smaller for expensive items. 10% off gift cards are totally worth it. //@anonymous: Depends on where you shop.
