It's not always convenient. Some shoppers do not select produce, do not look for a product you need, and do not bother to find alternatives in case something is out of stock or they can't find it - which I understand: they are not shopping for themselves, and they don't want to waste too much time on a single order. You are the one left to deal with bad or missing ingredients in your planned meal.
