Let me tell my story with Tracfone and total wireless (they are the same company.) I bought four phones over the winter, I ended up 1) returning two phones, 2) contacting the service for the remaining two for hours in order the get them to work properly. If you love your life, stay away from a low-quality service provider like them. //@Anonymous: where does it say it is an 1 year plan?

I think RedPocket via eBay has better offer if you are looking for something as a backup plan. Check the $2.50/Mo Red Pocket Prepaid Plan for 360 days.

cheap people use cheap products. That makes sense. //@Anonymous: Let me tell my story with Tracfone and total wireless (they are the same company.) Let me tell 'you' a story. In nearly two decades of using Trac I've had one issue that required a ~30 minute phone call. After some minor frustration, I had a working phone that suited my needs for four years. Which was especially good when I was on a tight budget and needed to follow the 'save where you can' protocol. Apparently many other customers agree, and that's presumably one reason Verizon thought it was worth buying out.

Trade in amount is the same on the XR if going through Apple. Both are $200. Here I thought they would lowball just like video games where they offer $5 and sell for $39.99

Don’t buy anything from this seller. I bought two phone plans from this seller, but only received one SIM card without any plan assigned. The seller refused to email me the activation PIN numbers to me and ignored my requests. Now I am waiting for the eBay customer service to solve this issue . Don’t know if I can get my money back. Don’t buy anything from this cheater.

Does anybody know, if you're an existing prepaid customer already can I change my plan to one of these newer plans at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
I've found in the past that T-Mobile will give new customers some great deals but walk all over and have no time for their existing customers.
