They will charge you, show order as shipped and won't ship your order for days/weeks. If you ask customer service, they will blame UPS for not picking up your package. I cancelled my order today.

Maybe this is a CA state law thing to charge taxes on the full price vs the sale price. In NY the taxes are paid on the sale price of the item. GoPro should explain accountants need to explain this one because I am at a lost //@Anonymous: sale tax is based on the original price....

The Apple news link is broken. Someone's service has a bug, the "[promocode]" has never been replaced by a real promo code. Sad.
So you may want to do it manually on your iPhone.
- Go to App Store
- Click on your profile/photo on the top right
- Click in Redeem Gift Card or Code
