Though Costco is better than Sam's, now a days I prefer Sam's as they have free Pickup. Costco doesn't have pickup and when I use Instacart I need to pay 20% more. I have both Costco and Sam's card. I had exact same experience. Called customer service and they told that they will send E-gift card in next 2-3 days. During pandemic, Amazon used people's panic very well and sold most of things at MSRP. For hot items like Clorox purell, etc, Amazon sold most of them to resellers at MSRP and then charge these resellers when they sell these items at higher price.
