Caution if you are one of those who looks to have the latest and greatest. In 2016 the 16" MBP was updated but the 13 was not so updates are expected at some point "soon" //@Anonymous: Thanks!

This is hot!

How is this a hot deal. This is 8% of the list price and google charges tax. Buy the same item from B&H and you get it without tax - so about the same price as this deal anyway.

Last June bought a dell xps 7590, i9, 32G memory, 3840x2160, touch screen, 2T SSD, finger print login, win10, for ~$1750 after tax. Also self installed macOS High Sierra and CentOS (linux) virtual machine.

Try Arch or Debian. Both are better for personal use. RH/Cent is for servers. //@anonymous: Last June bought a dell xps 7590, i9, 32G memory, 3840x2160, touch screen, 2T SSD, finger print login, win10, for ~$1750 after tax. Also self installed macOS High Sierra and CentOS (linux) virtual machine.

why apple never tell you which generation of i5/i7 they use?

Because most people buying Apple computers don’t ask that question.

Don’t buy the 128GB model, you will regret it later.

Thanks, great deal. 128gb is more than enough for people who aren't hoarding pr0n. This laptop is super popular for a reason.

I bought an used 2018 Macbook Air 16GB 512SSD for $800 (Not the latest model but still works well for me)

I have 128G, you right, I got free space warning everyday. Mac system goes to 62G now. I don't know what to do. I spend 1600 for this MB pro, why Apple can't put a bigger SSD on it. //@Anonymous: Don’t buy the 128GB model, you will regret it later.
