I vote for Cuckoo. I haven't used this specific model, but generally speaking, CUCKOO is better built, and makes better quality rice. - So far, I have used 3 zojirushi and 2 Cuckoo rice cookers. - I had used my first Cuckoo for years, until I couldn't find the rubber gasket replacement anymore. I replaced it 2+ times already at the time. //@Anonymous: How is cuckoo compared to zojirushi?

There are way too many models to compare. Pressure cookers are in their own category and both companies make them along with non-pressure cooker models. //@anonymous: I vote for Cuckoo. It doesnt matter where it is made. Zojirushi holds all manufacturing facilities of their products to strict brand build standards. This isn't the 90s capacitor crisis. //@anonymous: Are you comparing made in Korea Cuckoo with made in China Zojirushi? //@anonymous: I vote for Cuckoo. Zojirushi's policy is to hold all manufacturing facilities to the same strict standards, however, it is dependent on how people in different manufacturing facilities enforce Zojirushi's policy and how much they enforce it //@Anonymous: It doesnt matter where it is made. 20 cups is the max capacity, it will cook 2 cups just fine.

They just just a weird unit. This is 20 cup cooked rice, which is probably 8 cup uncooked rice. All other rice cooker use uncooked rice measure their sizes.
