Myq is garbage. It does not work with Google home. Only Google Assistant from your phone. And you must say tell MyQ to open garage door. You better off buying the $12 Wi-Fi switch. And you had to have a premium account. Chamberlain should be ashamed of themselves.

This thing doesn't work well and the support people say they will send replacement parts under warranty but they don't follow through. Don't waste your money.

You don't have to subscribe to the service. Just use the free myQ app to control the door. It worked very well and now it's time to get another one for the second garage door.

Been using more than a year. It works great and with the myQ app you can operate the garage door anywhere in the world with WiFi connection. It also notify you whenever the garage door is opened or closed. Highly recommend.

I bought one last month, but the MyQ app cannot accurately control the door, it had 50% of time failing to open/close the door, I then returned it. BTW my door brain is Genie

The garage band should not be the problem. It just work like an on/off switch if your garage door. It does require a strong Wi_Fi signal in your garage to connect to your home network to work well.

Folks post before you get the facts straight. I have two separate doors, one hub controls both sensors, and everything just works perfectly. You need to load the App, and there is no fee attached at all.
