I got issue when doing so. I was even not the member for two years, but added another one who was costco member. Called them and they told me to go store to get $20. It's a bad culture at Costco. Cashiers are rude, and they don't even look at you or talk to you in a decent manner, just absolute racist, 3 times and I closed my membership. Maybe they just didn't mine my Asian heritage. Paid for membership fee to shop and got looked down and talked down upon.

They prob think they're on top. No, Thank you. I'll shop elsewhere.

It took too much work when I returned my last item....I called 2 times and went to the store 3 times to have my item returned because my membership expired. They asked me to renew membership in order to return.
